Fire After Gas Line Struck At Ft. Worth Construction Site

UDPATE:  The fire was put out around 6:30 p.m.

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Part of a construction site caught fire in Ft. Worth shortly after 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Ft. Worth Fire Department says a construction crew hit a gas line, igniting the fire in the 1700 block of Eastchase Parkway.

Some of the build was damaged according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.

Atmos crews are on scene shutting off the gas.

One person suffered minor first-degree burns to the hands and was treated at the scene.
