ROWLETT (CBSDFW.COM) -  The fiance of 37-year-old mother of three, Laura Grillo has been charged with capital murder in a murder-for-hire.

Ioannis (John) Makris and Jesus Trevino have both been charged with capital murder.

A third person, James Villeda will be charged in this case in the next few days according to Rowlett Police.

Trevino and Makris are currently in custody and in the Dallas County Jail.

Villeda is in custody on an unrelated charge.

Police say Laura Grillo's fiance John Makris hired Jesus Trevino to shoot her, while James Villeda drove Trevino to the home.

Grillo was shot to death in her Rowlett home, about a week before her wedding day.

Detectives early on told us there was no sign of forced entry, and they knew whoever shot Grillo either followed her inside or was already there.

Grillo and Makris lived together with her three children. Police tell us they do have a suspected motive, but they declined to reveal any details about the investigation.

"Besides Laura losing her life, the real tragedy in this case is that there's three children without their mother, and now there's the five-year-old's father's been charged with the murder of the mother," Rowlett Police Lt. David Nabors said.
