Standoff With Felony Suspect Ends

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A man wanted on felony warrants and evading arrestbarricaded himself inside a home on E. Kellis Street Sunday afternoon.

Patrol officers were dispatched to Nolan Street and East Seminary Drive on a disturbance call around 2:15 p.m. On arrival the officers were directed to the adult male suspects address in the 5100 block of Nolan.

The suspect drove off and a chase ensued.

The suspect returned to his home and barricaded himself inside the house - refusing to come out.

SWAT and Hostage Negotiators were then called to the scene.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident at 5:45 p.m.
