Feds: 21 Arrested In Texas Aryan Brotherhood Drug Ring

WACO (CBSDFW.COM/AP) — Authorities in Texas say they've arrested 21 members of the Aryan Brotherhood prison gang in an alleged conspiracy to sell methamphetamine.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for western Texas said Thursday that investigators have seized 9 pounds of crystal meth and 15 firearms from the group of defendants, based in and around Waco.

An indictment unsealed Thursday does not say how the defendants are tied to the Aryan Brotherhood. Prosecutors say investigators made several undercover purchases of methamphetamine as part of their work in the case.

None of the defendants had attorneys listed yet in online court records.
