FC Dallas Beats Orlando City 4-0

FRISCO (AP) -- Walker Zimmerman, Michael Barrios, Matt Hedges and Fabian Castillo scored and FC Dallas took the overall lead in the MLS standings with a 4-0 win over Orlando City on Monday night.

FC Dallas (10-5-4) moved ahead of Colorado, which had a scoreless draw with Portland on Monday night. Orlando City (4-4-8) went scoreless for the first time this season.

Zimmerman opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a right-footed volley to finish Mauro Diaz's corner into the far corner.

Maximiliano Urruti crossed it in as Barrios sped past defender Luke Boden and chipped it over goalkeeper Joe Bendik to make it 2-0 in the 21st.

Hedges headed home Diaz's free kick in the 61st minute and Castillo's goal in the 92nd capped the scoring.
