FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Fabian Castillo scored his sixth goal of the season and FC Dallas beat the Houston Dynamo 2-0 on Friday night in the second Texas Derby of the season.

FC Dallas (7-5-5) snapped a six-game winless streak and beat Houston (5-7-5) for the fourth straight time, including a 4-1 win May 1.

It was the first home game for FC Dallas since May 15, going 0-3-3 on the road. The game was delayed for over an hour due to inclement weather.

FC Dallas scored on Houston's own goal in the 33rd minute and Castillo's finish in the 42nd. Castillo was a factor in both. For the first goal, he settled a diagonal cross, juked his defender and crossed a ball that deflected off Jermaine Taylor's foot inside the far post. The second goal started in a similar fashion. Castillo won a diagonal cross, fed Mauro Diaz for a give-and-go and raced past the defense for a breakaway goal.

Houston goalkeeper Tyler Deric won a one-on-one battle with Castillo in the 50th minute.
