Father Of Road Rage Victim On Quest

ARLINGTON (CBS11) - A grieving father is on a quest to find the man who murdered his daughter as she drove down a busy highway.
Arlington Police are desperately searching for clues in what appears to be a road rage shooting that happened Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 30 near the Cooper exit.
Brittany Daniel didn't normally drive that way after work. But her coworker needed a lift.
"I don't even know if she heard the shot," said Daniel's father Malcolm Daniel. "All we know is our daughter pulled over, slumped over and said, 'Call 9-1-1'."
Just seconds before, police say people in a passing car were yelling obscenities at 26-year-old Brittany Daniel, apparently for driving too slowly.
When Daniel responded, police say the passenger of the passing car shot her. She later died. Her passenger was not injured.
"We had four boys," her father said. "She was 'baby girl', the only girl."
Family members say Brittany Daniel was in charge of a housekeeping shift at a Fort Worth hotel. Malcolm Daniel says he's only able to talk to us about his daughter because he wants justice for her.
"Strong and holding up I'm not," Malcolm Daniel said. "My daughter is the most important thing in my life. WAS the most important thing. You have sons, all of them I love just as much. But my only daughter? Every day we saw each other she'd smile if she just seen me. I'd smile back. That magic was there."
Malcolm Daniel is left with grief and a big question for his daughter's killer.
"Why? Are you that angry at the world for your life that you want to hurt people who don't agree with you or just get in your way? Why?"
And he's pleading with the driver of the passing car to do the right thing.
"Please turn him in," he said. "Our daughter was loved by many. Only 26 years old. Didn't get to enjoy her life. And it's not fair. This person needs to pay. I don't want to be looking at TV and see another dad doing what I'm doing now."
The only description we have of the suspect's car is a small, dark, four-door sedan with tinted windows.
A $10,000 reward has been offered by Oak Farm Dairy for information leading to the shooter's arrest.
