Fair Weather For Fair Weekend
Today you are going notice a little more humidity and a little more cloud cover than you've had the last few days. This is from two weak disturbances; one that is moving east from the Pecos and another moving NW from the gulf shore in south Texas:
This is a rain event for the southern third of the Lone Star State and into the Hill Country. It will get close enough to bring slight rain chances across our southern tier:
We'll have highs again in the upper 80's. Great weather for the opening of the State Fair of Texas:

We do have rain chances ahead but not until we get out of the month. Right now it appears this will be the driest September ever recorded at DFW. A cold front arrives on Thursday to bring storms and some wet weather on Friday. A cooler weekend is in store for us as we go into October.
