Facebook Post Leads To Fort Worth Stabbing

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A post on Facebook led to a violent confrontation in east Fort Worth on Monday night. The incident happened just after 11:00 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Stalcup Road.

According to police, a woman was stabbed after a fight broke out between two bigger groups of people at the apartment complex. The disturbance began when the two groups got into a disagreement over something that had been posted on Facebook.

Two women started arguing with each other and one of them pulled out a knife, authorities said. The victim was cut in the shoulder area.

Emergency crews came to the apartment complex. The injured victim was treated by MedStar workers at the scene and quickly released. Her name was not released. There were no arrests in this case and no further injuries reported.

Officials have not divulged the nature of the Facebook post that ultimately spiraled into this incident.
