Exclusive Video Shows New Angle Of Deadly Dallas Crash

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The suspect accused of causing a fiery and deadly crash in Dallas Tuesday evening remains in critical condition at Baylor Medical Center. Jarron Williams, 27, has been charged with murder.
On CBS 11 News at 10 we showed surveillance video of Williams running a red light at Ferguson and Maylee and slamming into several vehicles. It was a fiery crash.
Newly released video shows the violent crash from a different angle. The recording shows that after a white van was hit, it kept going and crashed into a Mercedes SUV. Convenience store customer Arthur White had left the SUV and ran back to check on his wife.
Cori White was trapped inside. The passenger door couldn't open, because it was against the van and the driver door was pinned against a gas pump.
"Looking through my window was like looking through a movie scene," she said. "Being trapped, I didn't know what to do. Because my first panic was this is a gas pump and it might explode and there's already fire around me."
Meanwhile, Arthur worked feverishly to try and rescue his wife. He eventually was able to get her out of the back hatch.
Cori recalled talking to her husband later. "He said all he could think about was… he saw my face." She said her husband told her, "All I can remember is your facial expression in the car when you saw the van coming at you."
The couple was lucky.
Fifty-eight-year-old Stephen Fox, a Mesquite resident, was killed when the suspect vehicle slammed into his. CBS 11 News contacted his family but they were too distraught to talk.
Another woman, Raquel Saucedo, who said she was a part of the crash, told CBS 11 that she and her mother were still inside her vehicle when it caught fire for a short period. She said they both initially froze.
"I told my mother, 'mommy go out, go out.' She said, 'I can't do it, because I'm scared.'"
Dallas police investigators mapped out the crime scene Wednesday morning and continue to investigate the incident.
Records show suspect Jarron Williams has been arrested in 18 separate incidents since 2005, with previous charges ranging from evading arrest to stealing a vehicle.
