Ex-Cowboys Special Teamer Dwayne Harris Goes To NY Giants

DALLAS, Texas (105.3 THE FAN) - Dallas Cowboys WR/special teams standout Dwayne Harris is staying in the NFC East, but not with the Cowboys. Harris is heading east to join the NY Giants.

Harris confirmed the move in a tweet Tuesday afternoon saying he would be, "taking his talents to the big apple" not long after the official NFL Free Agency period opened.

Harris' deal with the Giants is reported to be $17.5-million over 5 years with $7.1 million guaranteed.

In 2013 Harris averaged 30.6 yards per kick return and 12.8 yards per punt return but dropped last season, averaging 24.7 yards per kick return and 9.2 yards per punt return.
