Eula Residents Evacuated Due To Grass Fire

EULA (CBSDFW.COM) — Residents in Eula were evacuated Saturday due to a large grass fire.

More than 100 acres burned and a number of structures in and near the town southeast of Abilene were destroyed. As of Saturday evening, the fire was about 25 percent contained.

Dozens of the about 125 residents in Eula that had evacuated were being allowed to return home in the evening. One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
