Enrique Arochi Found Guilty In The Disappearance of Christina Morris

MCKINNEY (CBSDFW.COM) – Jurors at the Collin County Court House returned with a guilty verdict in the trial of Enrique Arochi. He was found guilty of Aggravated Kidnapping, as the verdict was read Arochi sat stone faced.

Arochi was the last person seen with Christina Morris before she vanished. The two had been former high school classmates. Cameras at The Shops at Legacy in Plano caught Arochi and Morris walking together inside of the shopping center's parking garage. Detectives found matching DNA samples in the trunk of Arochi's car.

Before the verdict was read the judge gave strict instructions for those in the court room to respect the verdict. "There will be no outburst, or any, any reaction to the verdict." He ask those who could not abide by his rules to leave before the verdict was read.

The family of Christina Morris has waited more than two years for answers about her disappearance – her body has never been found. As they left the courtroom the family of Christina Morris wiped away tears and hugged.

Sentencing phase of the trial will begin on Monday. Arochi could receive a sentence ranging from probation to life in prison.
