Elderly Man Found Dead In Hurst Yard

HURST (CBSDFW.COM) — Police believe a man found dead in a yard was the victim of a hit-and-run.
Hurst Police received a call reporting an unconscious man in a yard in the 100 block of Bedford Court East around 7:45 a.m. Friday, according to Lt. J. Pell, a spokesman for the department. Officers arrived minutes later and "discovered the body of a deceased elderly" man, Pell said.
Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the man as 51-year-old Eric Augsburger of Fort Worth.
Pell said evidence found at the scene points to a hit-and-run, and police are continuing to investigate.
