DWI Suspect Smashes Into Two Dallas Police Cruisers

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A suspected drunk-driver is locked up after crashing into two Dallas police cars this morning.
Dallas Police were helping Garland PD investigate a crash on westbound I-635/LBJ near Jupiter Rd around 1:00 a.m. when the driver of a white SUV came up on the accident scene and didn't stop.
According to police, the SUV struck one Dallas Police cruiser then swerved into another one. Both officers were inside their vehicles at the time, but were not injured.
The driver of the SUV, 39-year-old Andrea Smith, was arrested on unrelated charges and is being investigated for driving while intoxicated.
