DUNCANVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - Two different police departments are working to solve the case of a man found dead inside of his home on Monday, and only CBS 11 News was at the scene when authorities executed a search warrant on Tuesday night.

The investigation spans some 20 miles, from Duncanville to northeast Dallas.

The victim has been identified as 60-year-old Michael Wright of Duncanville. Police have not said much about this case other than the fact that Wright was found dead inside of his Mansfield Lane home on Monday. The victim was found by his wife, who then rushed to a neighbor's home for help. That neighbor called police.

Foul play is suspected in the case.

But a search warrant was executed on Tuesday night at the Towncreek Condos along Whitehurst Drive in Dallas, in the Lake Highlands area. This was confirmed to be in connection with Wright's death, and a witness said that one man was taken into custody.

Neither officials from the Dallas Police Department nor the Duncanville Police Department have stated what was found in the search. There has also been no word about the man who was taken into custody.
