Driver Flees After Slamming Into Irving Apartment Building
IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) -- Police are searching for the driver of a truck that slammed into an Irving apartment building and fled early Monday morning.
Shorty after 1:00 a.m., the truck struck the complex on Pioneer Drive, nearly destroying a resident's bathroom.
"I sat down on the couch, when I heard about 20 yards worth of screeching tires," said resident David Thorp. "Then I saw dust come out of my bathroom. He ran straight into it. All I heard was him reversing and heading down the street."
Police have not been able to locate the driver and have not released any description of the vehicle or driver.
No one was injured in the apartment complex as a result of the crash.
