Driver Dead After Fiery Crash In Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A driver died early Sunday morning after a fiery crash in Dallas.

Police say a driver was speeding on West Ledbetter and crashed into a bridge support at South R.L. Thornton just before 1 a.m.

The car then caught on fire. Witnesses tried to pull the driver out, but it was too hot and unsafe.

The driver was pronounced dead. An identity has not been released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
