DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police issued an update Monday on the security enhancements since the attack at DPD Headquarters in June.

The department says it has implemented several ongoing measures to enhance security at police facilities:

· Soon after the attack on Dallas Police Department Headquarters, dedicated officer patrols were implemented at all police facilities:

· The windows at Jack Evans Police Headquarters have been replaced.
· The Mayor, City Councilmembers, and the City Manager's Office have dedicated one million dollars in the 2015-2016 fiscal budget for security improvements at all police facilities.

The department says it's working on a security study to develop a conceptual plan to increase the physical security and protection of the public and DPD personnel at police facilities.
