PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - Plano police say a church steeple on a flatbed truck caused power lines to be dragged down at West Park and Travis, which is causing major traffic delays.

Police are rerouting drivers as crews work to repair the power lines. Oncor is also at the scene.

Plano police tweeted that the roads could be closed for another 10 to 12 hours for repairs.

Police say no one was injured and that the driver of the flatbed will be questioned. Police do not believe this was a criminal act.

This is a developing story and will be updated as information is released.
