DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Over the past several years, the Dallas Independent School District has grown its nursing program so each school has its own registered nurse.

The district says for this school year there are still approximately 15 open nursing positions the district is looking to fill.

Leigh Pelletier, a Dallas ISD nurse supervisor, said the job is ideal for a registered nurse who wants to make a difference every day.

"It's an incredibly rewarding job to be a nurse with Dallas ISD," she said.

To work in Dallas ISD, a registered nurse must have a bachelor's degree. To apply for a nursing job click here.
