Dez Exclusive: 'I'll Wait 'Til Minnesota And Be On Fire'

By Mike Fisher | @fishsports

OXNARD - All-Pro wide receiver Dez Bryant tells me that being in bubble wrap with his hamstring issue "is very frustrating. … But I feel good. When I get back, I'll be ready to roll and be on fire.''

And when will that be?

"We're hoping for Minnesota,'' Bryant said after a Sunday training-camp session during which he did mostly conditioning work. "Hopefully I'm back then against Minnesota (in Week 3 of the preseason.) I feel good. I'm patiently waiting.''

That "wait'' means that the hamstring strain he suffered on Aug. 8 will keep him out of the practices against the Rams on Monday and Tuesday, and out of next Sunday's preseason game at San Francisco.

"I understand what'd going on,'' he said." I want to be out here with my teammates. But the coaches just want what's best for me.''
