Dez Bryant, Joseph Randle Argue At Practice After Jail Booking Video Released

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - There was a little drama at Valley Ranch on Friday, as teammates Joseph Randle and Dez Bryant appeared to get into a heated discussion on the Dallas Cowboys practice field.

It's presumably over something Randle said while being booked for shoplifting earlier this month.  CBS 11 was first to air that booking video on Wednesday night.

Randle can be heard saying, "Dez didn't miss no games after he smacked his mom," while chatting with police officers at Frisco City Jail.

Randle, who makes about a half million dollars a year, was arrested for stealing cologne and underwear, even though he had more than $300 cash and credit cards in his possession at the time.

Friday, two days after the video was made public, Randle and Bryant could be seen exchanging some heated words on the practice field before team captain Jason Witten stepped in and told them to cool off.

After practice, Witten addressed the situation.  "Fiery guys. Things happen all the time ya know. Just so happened that y'all were out there for a little bit of it," said Witten to reporters.  "So, we're going places, we're trying to move on from last week's game and so all of that's handled and we move forward."

When asked to comment further, Witten said, "I don't really feel comfortable talking about it.  We handled it inside our football team."

Bryant didn't want to talk about it either, instead preferring to look forward.

"It's all good. That ain't no big deal," he said. "I don't worry about none of that, ya know. Ya know, I'm ready to talk about these Arizona Cardinals.
