Detainees At DFW Airport Released By Customs

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Attorneys at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport confirmed nine travelers who were detained on Saturday due to President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration have been released.
Attorneys told protestors they were informed the remaining detainees had been released but urged the crowd to stay in place to keep the pressure on officials.
For some of the family members, it's been a frustrating wait after they say their relatives followed all the rules to come to the U.S.
"They underwent the security check for almost five months before they were qualified to get their visa, and they finally could get their visa November 7th, and they booked this flight, the flight to U.S. more than two months ago," said Elnaz Ghotbi Radandi, whose relative was detained.
The detainees were released and reunited with their families at an off-site location throughout Sunday.
Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings met with the detainees and families at the location.
Three travelers who were also detained were already released Saturday.
