WASHINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - It's not surprising to learn that a Hollywood star is a Cowboys fan. There are tons of people from all over the U.S. that are fans of Jerry's team.
Lebron James is a Cowboys fan, Chris Paul is a Cowboys fan, even comedian Chris Rock is a fan of America's team.
So, finding out that mega-star Denzel Washington is a Cowboys fan isn't all that exciting, except for when you realize that he professed his love for the team in front of Washington D.C. reporters.

While conducting an appearance for his new movie, 'Fences', Washington was asked why he was a Cowboys fan, since he's from New York?
"I played for the boys club in Mount Vernon (NY), we were called the Red Raiders. I wanted to go to Texas Tech because they were the Red Raiders, which got me involved with Texas football. So, I started watching Texas, University of Texas... all of them. And I landed with the Cowboys and I ain't stopped since," Washington explained before ending his statement with "how 'bout them Cowboys!"
How 'bout them Cowboys? They're 11-1 and have already clinched a playoff berth with four games to go, so Denzel surely has a lot to be excited about.
