Denton Teacher Remakes Uptown Funk As STAAR Test Motivation

DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) - "STAAR Test we're gon' give it to you, STAAR Test we're gon' give it to ya. It's testing day, we've learned a lot, Don't believe me just watch!" sings Denton ISD 6th grade reading teacher Kelli Hauser in her remake of the year's hottest song of the year, "Uptown Funk."
Not only did Hauser change and sing the lyrics for the Bruno Mars hit to serve as an inspiration for North Texas students, she also filmed a video which is almost a complete replica of the chart topping song! You can check out a side by side comparison for yourself.
This is Hauser's sixth year to make a video to get her students ready for the STAAR test.
