Denton police investigating shooting that killed 23-year-old man
DENTON (CBSNewsTexas.com) — Denton police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Monday night.
Just before 10 p.m. Oct. 23, police responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of E. McKinney Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man—later identified as 23-year-old Daniel Ryan—with gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
Ryan was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said they arrested a male suspect who remained at the scene, and that he is cooperating with the investigation.
