DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) - The Denton Police Department is seeking the public's help in the investigation of a vandalized squad car that was found early Saturday morning at Loop 288 and Stuart Road.

Police were notified at approximately 6:00 a.m. by a caller. The caller said the police car had been spray-painted with profanities.

Police said when officers arrived at the location of the car, they found all four tires flattened, the spot light broken, and spray paint all over the car.

According to officials, the vehicle was placed at the location as a way to deter drivers from speeding.

Denton PD is asking anyone that has any information regarding this vandalism to call the department or reach them through their Facebook page.
