DENTON (1080 KRLD) - The City of Denton conducted its annual full-scale disaster exercise today in preparation for emergencies.

Denton emergency management coordinator Michael Penaluna said the city simulates a different disaster each year. Today's exercise involved a tornado touching down and first responders from several different agencies having to rescue 50 victims.

Penaluna said the initial feedback from this year's exercise has been positive.
