Deadly Arlington Accident Snarls Rush Hour Traffic

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A deadly Arlington car crash on I-20 near Green Oaks Blvd., killed a teenager and sent two young children to the hospital.

The accident happened on Tuesday afternoon around 3 pm.

Police say car the teenager was riding in was driving slow and rear ended by another car merging onto the eastbound lanes of the interstate.

Five people were inside the car, including two children under the age of three.  They were taken to Cook's Hospital for treatment.

The crash backed up traffic for miles through rush hour, but the congestion had cleared by 6 pm.
