Dallas Shooting Leaves 2 People Dead

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Investigators in northeast Dallas are trying to figure out what led up to a shooting late Sunday night that left two people dead. Police were called just after 10:30 p.m. to the Timberlodge Apartments, located along Audelia Road, just south of Forest Lane.

Detectives have focused on one apartment unit, where the two victims were found. One of those people was pronounced dead at the scene. The other person was taken to Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and later died there. The events that led up to this fatal shooting are not yet clear.

According to police, the shooting might have been drug-related. That is still under investigation.

Authorities have not said if they are searching for any suspects in this case, or who the shooter might have been. The names of the victims have also not yet been released.
