DALLAS (CBSDFW/AP) - Dallas police say they're looking for a woman who tricked a man with dementia into applying for credit cards and gift cards - someone they're calling the "Sweetheart Swindler."

Police said Friday that the woman identified herself as "Lisa" and convinced the man she was his friend.

"He opened up credit cards, merchant cards, things like that for her" said Senior Corporal Chen Le.

Police released video Friday of the suspected swindler talking to a person in a motorized wheelchair.

He lost $16,000 until the woman stopped answering his phone calls.

The suspect can be seen in the video below with two other females.
