Dallas Police Investigating Downtown Shooting

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police responded to a shooting Saturday afternoon in the 1100 block of McKinney Avenue with one male victim.
Officers got to the scene at about 1:20 p.m. where they found an injured male victim in a tan BMW in the parking lot of the location.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital where he is currently in "very critical" condition, according to police.
Police say the victim, a man in his mid-20's, and another person became involved in a disturbance where the victim displayed a handgun.
According to police, the shooter fired his weapon at the victim and struck him. The shooter fled the scene.
Officers found a gun and numerous shell casings at the scene of the incident.
Josh Gonzalez was in a car with his wife and daughter when he heard gunshots.
"I saw one guy taking off and they were shooting... but when I came up on the guy in the car he looked pretty bad..." said Gonzalez.
