DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Dallas police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect who they say killed 28-year-old DeAngelo Golphin in his car in a 7-Eleven parking lot on Feb. 12. On Friday the department released surveillance video of the incident.

Police describe the suspect seen in the video as a "black male, approximately 20 to 23 years old, 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-8-inches tall, with a curly afro that is shaved on the sides."

Police said the video shows the suspect getting into a car that belonged to Golphin, Golphin then getting in the car and the suspect later running away. Police said the suspect shot and killed Golphin inside the car.

Those with information are asked to contact Dallas Police Homicide Detective T. Stewart at 214-671-3635 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS.
