DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Dallas police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead Saturday night.

Officers responded to the call in the 1300 block of Holcomb Road just before 8 p.m. Police said a 52-year-old man was walking in the southbound lane of Holcomb Road when he was hit by a vehicle that did not stop to help. The pedestrian may have also been hit by other vehicles, police said.

Dallas Fire Rescue responded and determined the man died from his injuries, police said.

Monday, police identified the victim as 52-year-old Larry Tyrome Davis.

Police said there is no information on the vehicle or the driver, but the investigation is ongoing.
