Dallas Police Find Woman's Body In Burning Car

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — What began as a 9-1-1 call for a car accident morphed into a homicide investigation and manhunt in Dallas.

Officers were called to the scene of a burning vehicle on Royal Lane near I-35 Saturday morning. When crews extinguished the flames, they discovered the body of a woman in the back seat of the car.

Witnesses tell police they saw a man run from the scene.
