Dallas PD To Hold Recruiting Events In Tennessee

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Police Department will be holding its first recruiting events since the July 7 officer ambush in downtown Dallas.
According to the city of Dallas, after the ambush, the police department received hundreds of requests to send applications along with numerous support from all over the country and world.
The police department will hold an event in Memphis at the Hilton Memphis on September 20.
There will also be another event in Millington, Tennessee at the NSA Mid-South on September 22.
The city said the Dallas Police Department is recruiting 300 police officers from around the United States.
