Dallas Officer Shoots Suspect Following Struggle, Investigation Ongoing

DALLAS (CBSDFW) - Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the 8300 block of Reva Street.
According to Dallas Police, officers were following up on a tip about a wanted female suspect.
Officers found the woman around 9:00 a.m. Friday in a vehicle on Reva Street, in East Dallas near south Buckner Blvd & Bruton Road. Two men were also in the vehicle with the suspect.
Police say one of the men in the car got out and began to assault the officer, grabbing his taser. The officer drew his firearm and shot the male suspect.
The unidentified man was taken to a local hospital, he is listed in stable condition.
No officers were injured.
