Dallas Man Gets 22 Years Jail For Trafficking Girl

DALLAS (AP) - Prosecutors say a Dallas gang member has been sentenced to nearly 22 years in federal prison for forcing a runaway 14-year-old girl into prostitution.

Keith Williams was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty earlier this year to sex trafficking of children.

His girlfriend, Erin Patton, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children and was sentenced last month to more than seven years in prison. Williams and Patton are both 24 years old.

Prosecutors say the victim ran away from home in September 2012, met Patton and the woman lured the girl into commercial sex operations. Patton gave the girl a cellphone to post illicit images online.

Authorities believe Williams helped make the girl available as a prostitute into 2013 as the child returned home but would flee again.
