DALLAS (KRLD-AM) - The Dallas man who was beaten by an angry mother in a carjacking that ended in a crash in February of 2015, has been convicted of one charge and acquitted of another.

Artrai Alexander was found guilty of trying to evade police but not guilty of aggravated robbery.

Alexander led police on a chase that was televised live.

When his car crashed at Abrams and Walnut Hill, the mother of a mini-van began wailing on Alexander.
