Dallas Homicide Victim Identified Through Tattoos

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Police Department is thanking the public for their assistance in identifying Ivory Stimpson Jr.

The 27-year-old was found shot to death inside a burning vehicle in the 3600 block of Jeffries Street on Monday, October 5 around 5:00 a.m.

But police didn't know who he was, so they released images of tattoos from the victim's body and gold mouth piece the victim wore.

Police are still asking anyone with information regarding this crime contact Detective Shinn with the Dallas Police Department's Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3605.
