IRVING (105.3 THE FAN) - The Dallas Cowboys are still trying to add secondary help, and in the midst of those pursuits, have added help in their personnel department.
Sources confirm to 105.3 The Fan that Dallas is hiring former Falcons personnel director Lionel Vital to the staff, saying that his role will focus on college evaluation while working under present personnel boss Will McClay.
Vital played briefly in the NFL and then in 1991 began his 25-year NFL carer by being hired by Bill Belichick in Cleveland.
Meanwhile, Dallas has added Bengals cornerback Leon Hall to its free-agent visits list. Also, despite a report from the NFL Network, Dallas at this time has no plans on hosting Redskins safety Dashon Goldston, 105.3 The Fan is told.
Defensive end Chris Long from the Rams is scheduled for a Wednesday visit.
