Dallas Baptist Holds Off Texas Tech In Lubbock Regional

LUBBOCK (AP) - Jameson Hannah drove in three runs and Justin Wall went 3 for 5 with two runs scored to help Dallas Baptist beat Texas Tech 10-6 in the NCAA Tournament's Lubbock Regional on Sunday night.

The teams will play again Monday with the winner advancing to the super regionals.

Dallas Baptist (44-18), which beat New Mexico 5-3 earlier Sunday, built a 7-0 lead -- capped by a two-out, two-RBI double by Hannah -- heading into the fourth inning. The Patriots extended their lead to 7-0 in the sixth.

Texas Tech (43-18) scored six, including a two-RBI single by Cory Raley and a double by Hunter Hargrove that scored two more, in the top of the seventh, before Dallas Baptist's Gavin Fritz pitched a scoreless 2 1/3 innings to close it out.

Justin Wall went 3 for 5 with three runs scored and Camden Duzenack was 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Patriots.
