WATCH: Dak Prescott Passes Troy Aikman For Most TD Passes In Rookie Year

The Dak Prescott era in Dallas has gotten off to a spectacular and now the rookie quarterback has already begun compiling franchise records just eight games into his NFL career.

In the first quarter against the Browns, Prescott connected with tight end Jason Witten for a 26-yard touchdown. The touchdown pass was his 10th of the young season and vaulted him past Hall of Famer Troy Aikman for the most TD passes by a rookie quarterback in team history.

The score also put the Cowboys ahead of the Browns 7-3.

It's early in his young career, but if Prescott can continue to play the way he has early on, it won't be the last time we mention Prescott and Aikman in the same sentence.
