DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A fire broke out at a warehouse in Dallas early Tuesday morning, destroying everything inside. The incident happened just before 2:00 a.m. along Diplomacy Row, located between Loop 12 and Highway 183.

Flames could be seen in the windows and shooting through the roof of the warehouse when emergency crews arrived at the scene. The building also filled with thick smoke. Firefighters had to cut open a loading dock door just to get inside.

However, once inside, fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. There was concern that the fire would spread to other nearby warehouses, but workers were able to prevent that from happening.

But the damage at the warehouse was extensive. The building belonged to a uniform company that supplies clothes and linens to hotels, hospitals and restaurants. The owner said that nearly everything inside of the warehouse is damaged.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The good news is that nobody was inside of the building at the time.
