Crews Battle Apartment Fire In Northeast Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Crews battled a fire at an apartment building in Northeast Dallas Friday afternoon.
Heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from a building at the Waterchase Apartments on Plano Road near Walnut Street. Crews responded at around 2:55 p.m.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within two hours.
Officials said there were at nine units in the building that were damaged to some degree, such as fire, water and smoke damage.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
