The fire spread to businesses next door, including a clothing store and a nail salon. There have been no reports of injuries.

Cindy Pham, who owns a nail salon next to the laundromat, says she was unable to get inside her business to see if anything was salvageable. He also says she's worried about when she and her seven employees will be able to get back to work.

"I see the rescue fire, they try the best they can, so we can do nothing about that. We just watch, just look. That's all we can do," said Pham.

Officials say the fire was three-alarm at around 9:30 a.m. but was upgraded through the morning to a six-alarm due to heat.

There has been no word on what may have caused the fire.
