Crews Battle Fire At Dr. Pepper Plant In Irving

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Firefighters were able to get a fire at a Dr. Pepper plant in Irving under control Sunday afternoon.

Firefights continued to battle hotspots after getting the fire under control.

According to officials, there were no injuries to civilians, but there was one injury to a first responder. The first responder's status is currently unknown.

Officials say contractors were working on the roof of the plant when the roof caught fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
