DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - No matter what the critics say, Tony Romo will be wearing a Dallas Cowboys uniform next year according to team owner & General Manager Jerry Jones.

Following Romo's press conference on Tuesday where he said that Dak Prescott had "earned the right to be our quarterback," many speculated that Tony's career of playing for the Cowboys was all but over.

But in an impromptu press conference at the Dallas Cowboys headquarters in Frisco on Thursday, Jerry Jones said that there was no consideration of Romo being anything but a Cowboys player next year.

In fact, the team owner even said that Romo "can play 5 more years."
