DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys took care of business Sunday night. They beat a team they're supposed to beat, in convincing fashion. Dallas beat the Bears 31-17 in a game that never felt close.
The offense was led by rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Prescott rushed and threw for a score, while Elliott had his first career 100 yard+ rushing game.
The Bears had no answers for Elliott on the night as Dallas kept feeding the rookie the rock. Elliott finished with 142 yards on the ground, however, he didn't have any of the three Cowboys rushing touchdowns despite having the best game of his young career. Prescott, Alfred Morris and Lance Dunbar each had a touchdown for the Dallas rushing attack.
It took three games, but the wait for Prescott's first career passing touchdown is finally over. Dak hooked up with Dez Bryant in the fourth quarter on a 17-yard touchdown.
Dallas will head to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in week 4.
